About Desk & Ledger
Stationery and desk goods for people who still like to write things down.
Desk & Ledger began with a simple idea: the tools on a desk are used more often than almost anything else we own, so they should be good. A notebook that opens flat. A pen that sits well in the hand. A lamp that lights the page and not your eyes.
How we choose
We look for things that do one job well and keep doing it: sewn bindings instead of glued ones, solid wood and brass instead of plated plastic, leathers that soften and darken rather than crack. If we would not use it on our own desks, it does not go in the catalogue.
